unit, which develops Blue Origin's multiple Blue Moon lander

are looking for an experienced turbomachinery structural analyst
for our Lunar Lander for NASA's Artemis mission. Work will include
the complete life cycle of from requirements definition, analysis,
design, development, assembly, verification, and operation on the
moon!We will be designing and building clean sheet advanced liquid
hydrogen and liquid oxygen pumps. This position encompasses
performing structural analysis using FEA and classical methods on
turbomachinery components such as impellers, housings, bearings,
and shafts. You will conduct fatigue and fracture calculations and
write detailed structural analysis reports.Bring your technical

National Team Partners as part of the Human Landing System (HLS)
Sustaining Lunar Development (SLD) program. You will play a key
role in developing the Lunar Transportation system that will return
humans to the Moon and extend human presence permanently beyond the
bounds of Earth.Qualifications:
- B.S. in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, Engineering or
related technical subject area
- 5+ years of experience in turbomachinery structural
analysis
- Experience performing FEA utilizing non-linear modeling
techniques to include non-linear material and contact methods in
ANSYS
- Experience performing modal analysis and frequency
prediction.
- Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional
relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion
- Excellent verbal, written, and graphical communication skills
with ability to directly collaborate with external parties
including government and commercial entities
- Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident
(current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as
a refugee or granted asylum
- Willingness to work on-site with occasional travelDesired:
- M.S. in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, Engineering or
related technical subject area
- Experience with cryogenic applications
- Experience in all phases of turbomachinery life cycle in flight
vehicle applications
- Experience in engineering analysis/support for disposition of
Non-Conformance (NC) related to turbomachinery

$111,690.00-$156,366.00;CO applicants is $102,382.50-$143,335.50;WA
