Job Description:
Urgent need for a HR Assistant to work for a dynamic company
located in Downtown Los Angeles.
Excellent oral,written and interpersonal skills.Must be able to
manage multiple priorities in a demanding environment. Demonstrate
exceptional customer service understanding and adhere to strict
confidentiality requirements. Computer proficiency with working
knowledge in: MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel and/or
Access Knowledge of Crystal Reports is preferred Requires high
school diploma or equivalent. College coursework or Bachelor degree
in Human Resource Management or equivalent highly desired.
Typically requires 2 or more years experience.
Responsibilities:
Provides administrative work of moderate complexity. The work
requires the application of human resource management processes and
procedures. Will provide administrative assistance to Staffing team
in support of the recruitment and selection process. Schedule
interviews, coordinate travel arrangements, generate employment
packages; schedule pre-employment physicals; scheduling and
occasionally verifying reference checks. sessions. Ensures new hire
paperwork is processed and monitored accordingly (i.e. I9 completed
and verified). Assumes direct responsibility for clerical functions
of union related complexity, i.e. responding to employees?
inquiries regarding bid status (determining eligibility of employee
bid card)
